Huh? Depression is a medical condition wherein the neurotransmitters (specifically serotonin) in your brain are either too low in concentration or are not latching to the dendritic ends of your neurons (because of a possible deformity due to smoking or other drug use). It's treated with medication that can either supplement the amount of serotonin in the brain or by blocking receptors in the neurons, which allows the reuptake process to happen gradually as opposed to immediately. Nearly every single adult will experience depression at some point in their lives, which is a persistent depressed mood and lowered drive for any activity for 3-6 months.
