La Tomatina festival is waste of tomatoes , isn't it ?

The ones they throw at the festival aren't the ones that end up being used for food. They all have skins that are cracked or some kind of flaw that makes them unsuitable for sale.

You can grow tomatoes in India as long as you have a decent water source.
