Why didn't jets intercept the airliners since they had numerous warnings of terrorist attacks on 9/11?

1. Training exercises on 9/11 were used to paralyze the military, by making personnel at NORAD's Northeast Air Defense Sector confused over whether the terrorist attacks were real or just simulated. These training exercises included a scenario in which a plane crashes into a building, on the very day it actually happened.

that's a good question- maybe there was no time? or there was some legal reason? or cuz Bush said dont worry - no my boyfriend says that there was no time, no one expected it- they didnt know why they were flying in

Better question, why would terrorists attack the pentagon instead of the white house. If I was a terrorist I'd go for the most high profile target. I certainly don't think of the pentagon when I think of DC.

In what the government describes as a bizarre coincidence, a US intelligence agency was all set for an exercise at 9 AM on September 11th in which an aircraft would crash into one of its buildings near Washington, DC. So supposedly they thought it was an military exercise. And they said that the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania was taken over by the people on the plane, so the hijackers crashed it in to the ground on purpose.
