Who here believes in god, who wasn't raised to believe in such?

I can truthfully tell you my parents never took me to church as a child.
In our house His name was usually followed by Damn.
I was the family s-e-x toy from the time I was 3yrs until 15 when i got married
to escape my parents.
I grew up hard and was mad at God for most of my life...
I thought if He could part the Red Sea why didn't He save me..??
At the age of 38 I was lead to God by a dear sweet friend and have been a God kid ever since.I now believe that God has used what I went through to help so many other
people that if I could go back being that abused child..I wouldn't change a thing..

I believe in some higher something that connects us all. Whether its god, or the nature spirits, or our souls, or the universe, or the little lights within all of us matters not to me. There's something. And all religions I feel connect to a piece of that something in their purest form. I'm just not one to adhere to one.

I believe only because i was raised as a Christian and like a good Christian

I had little knowledge that religion existed until i was in 7th grade. It took a while but I was finally able to learn more about God and religion. Now, I'm in the process of fully opening myself up to the glory of God.

I do. I wasn't raised in any religion, but I believe in God and I am also somewhat spiritual!

I don't believe in god at all. My mom and dad are religious but not me.
