(raises hand) I really do. He took on a crap set of circumstances, was elected by some people who were so desperate after Bush Jr. savaged the economy and left things in ruins, that they thought they could get past their bigotry and give him a chance. They couldn't, nor could the conservatives, unwilling to work with him. Several, like Mitch McConnell are on record as having the sole agenda of getting him out---the country be damned. In three years and while dealing with pushback every step of the way, he got rid of Bin Laden, DADT, and established a comprehensive healthcare plan, ba<x>sed on the model tauted by the Republican challenger---it was good enough for MA, but not the country ? Hypocrites. If Obama wins in November (and I will do my part), hopefully he can continue to do his job and the naysayers will back off. If not, if will prove what I've begun to suspect---that with the conservatives, racism will ALWAYS trump (no pun intended) patriotism and the good of the country.

Those who hate him, like to call people like me "blind followers" & "idiot's". I however have class. I simply refer to them as people I have disagreements with.

I do, i don't really get why he is so hated! some hates him cuz they think he is a Muslim, yet some Muslims hates him.. are you kidding me people! this is so silly, I'm a Muslim and I like him plus it has absolutely nothing to do with religion though, silly world!!

You criticize in a very broad fashion, sir. It's quite unfair. It's almost as if you're saying that people who disagree with you are not very bright & can't make good critical decisions. All because they choose to support someone you hate.

I'm a Canadian so perhaps I have no right answering this question, but from an outside perspective I don't see him being any worse than any of the other presidents. At least he's done a good job at improving International relations which Bush completely destroyed.

I'm sorry but your wrong, he has destroyed our foreign relations, especially with Israel. In 2008 gas was $1.68 then Congress was taken over by dumocrats, the gas went to $3.57, 2008 unemployment under bush was 6.7% now it's over 12.1%. For student loans, under bush. was less then 7% now it's over 9.8% which is now a loan paid back is around $30.000 per year. so please, talk about something you know about.

Yes and he also wasn't born in the USA and is a Muslim. I know that as a fact........ it was on Fox news years ago. lol Seriously gas prices are up everywhere. We are in a worldwide recession. The recession in the States was caused by the collapse of the banking system. Some of the deregulation that caused the collapse were implemented decades before. Not everything is Obama's fault. That's just my opinion. However, I think his #1 biggest problem is that he's wishy washy and tries to please everyone. That's just my opinion.

No. I had high hopes for him but either his handlers are idiots or he just never listened to them. He does not seem like a bad person. But in my opinion him as President has been like Corky running the Manhattan Project, plainly unqualified.

As being Dutch I only look at the American foreign policy and I can say he does that more or less right. Far better than Bush did anyway. Of course it's never perfect but for the world America is much better with a democratic than with a republican president.

I admit voting for him but now I see him for the floundering, lying, straw-grasping dope he is. He says the private sector is doing fine and the latest PATHETIC, losing job figures are a "step in the right direction" - yeah, to Hell in a handbasket!!

I liked the man he presented himself to be during the last election but the reality is a huge let down when compared with the promise. Although I do respect his attempt at fixing the most broken healthcare system on earth.
