Did you know several Gallup poll studies have shown that those with higher IQs tend not to believe in God?

That's because they tend to be too full of themselves and believe they know better. I have a pretty hi IQ and I believe in God. Generalizations are just that, not the truth about everyone.

It would also be interesting to see the correlating data on the ages that the participants were. Many who don't believe earlier in life, come to change their minds as they come closer to the end of it.

The problem with most polls is that they tend to show only a very small thin slice of data, and without other information to put it in context, it becomes interesting as a snapshot or a moment, but useless in the grand scheme of things.

There is evidence from other domains that higher levels of intelligence are associated with a greater ability - or perhaps willingness - to question and overturn strongly felt intuitions.

Yes, but that doesn't make them right, only questioning.

May I ask, were you brought up to believe in god?
