What do you think about Obama speaking a perfunctory 51 seconds about the Brussels terrorist attacks?
He doesn't come across as giving a hoot. It's clear that he is uncomfortable giving much attention to atrocities committed by Muslims

He's the President of the United States, not Europe or Belgium. He's on a very important trip right now in Cuba. That takes precedence at the moment. It was long planned. He can't just push that aside because of thugs in Belgium.

Thank you for posting something civil, factual and not hateful about his trip. Obama is a peacemaker, not a war monger like Cheney and his cabal. Opening diplomatic channels with Cuba will eventually bring change to the country.

"Opening diplomatic channels with Cuba will eventually bring change to the country." It doesn't look good so far. Since Obama restored ties with Cuba, the Castros have greatly increased repression in the country. We and the political dissidents of Cuba have gotten NOTHING out of this.
I don't see how it's "very important" aside from the significance of Obama conferring legitimacy and respect on yet another brutal dictatorship.
