What do you think about Obama speaking a perfunctory 51 seconds about the Brussels terrorist attacks?

He doesn't come across as giving a hoot. It's clear that he is uncomfortable giving much attention to atrocities committed by Muslims

His Muslim brothers carried out the attack he doesn't want to say anything bad, he is a complete disgrace to this county

Couldn't agree more.

Haters who stick to the stupid Muslim lie about PBO are a disgrace.
justcurious999
Okay way to show your ignorance, Obama refuses to even refer to it as radical Islamic terrorism... Why's that?
gtownguy
Because that's not what it is. The terrorists who do these things aren't true Muslims who follow Islam. Most Muslims who follow Islam are peace loving. (BTW, I'm Catholic). And he prefers civil discourse vs. inflammatory, riot inciting rhetoric like Trump.

BTW you are an idiot... The people who do those things are the ones who follow the koran word for word and believe there are true Muslims and ISIS is 45,000 strong that we know of there worst part is probably double that number is in sleeper cells, yea I spent 4 years overseas and I met many many many good Muslims but I also met many that hated me before I ever said my name because I'm a westerner... Problem is we can't tell the difference and until we hash out a way to tell them we have to keep them out and under a Muslim loving president that isn't going to happen, it is Islam terrorism they kill in the name of Allah

"The terrorists who do these things aren't true Muslims who follow Islam." What basis do you have for saying that? Islam has nothing to do with peace. I agree that most Muslims are not jihadists. However, replicated opinion polls show the overwhelming majority of Muslims strongly cling to the teaching in Islamic law that Muslims who convert to other religions should be summarily executed. I don't reckon that peace-loving. There is no basis for saying that the jihadists are not true Muslims. One of the central tenets of Islam is that Muhammad lived an ideal life. Do you have any idea of what Muhammad was really like? He was nothing like Jesus. According to friendly Islamic sources, he was a mass murderer. He massacred his enemies, in one instance sadistically killing them by amputating their limbs and letting them bleed to death. Till he died he spread his religion by the sword. Islamic scripture tells Muslims to kill the infidels. The main problem that the jihadists have in being in conformity to Islamic law is that they kill a lot of other Muslims. But there is abundant precedent in Islamic history for that. Muslims have been killing each other like flies ever since the early caliphate, often in the name of Islam fidelity. The jihadists' excuse is "We're just killing bad Muslims, apostates. " If that were true they'd be off the hook, but it's not really true.
When Muslims are living in a country, such as Iraq or Afghanistan, that greatly suffers from jihadism, they hate the jihadists and are willing to see the US kill them. But Muslims who are not in that plight, such as the Muslims of Europe and the US, oppose military action against the jihadists. This betrays the fact that, whatever they may say, they really regard as their own religious brethren these jihadists you say are not true Muslims.
It's not a disgrace for people to call Obama a Muslim. He indisputably was a Muslim in his earlier years when his stepfather took him to mosque in Indonesia. None other than Jeremiah Wright, the pastor who purportedly converted him to Christianity, has expressed doubt as to whether Obama really converted from Islam to Christianity. Obama has throughout his presidency manifested a profound emotional attachment to Islam and Muslims and no real attachment to Christianity.
Obama's discourse about the opposition party has been anything but civil. He has stooped to new lows in rancorous partisanship in the highest office.
"Problem is we can't tell the difference and until we hash out a way to tell them we have to keep them out"
Andrew McCarthy is an expert on this, and he says what we need to do is keep out the supporters of shariah law.
