Should Governor Agnew of Missouri be held accountable for allowing rioters to pillage and destroy in Ferguson?

He said he would not tolerate violence. But HE DID. The National Guard he had called out was not put into action. He didn't have the presence of mind to order a curfew. He obviously had not put together a serious plan, or he didn't have the guts to implement it. I would hope this kills his re-election chances.

I can't imagine being in his position. I mean, this is not communist Cuba, where the military will line the streets with machine guns like militant dictators. I'm sure he didn't want to have the situation escalate as it did.
