Coptic Christians masscred on video in Libya by Islamic State; will Obama make a dance video?

When Islamic State beheaded its first American hostage, journalist James Foley, Obama took note of the atrocity in a brief press appearance, and then three minutes later was on the golf course, where he fist-bumped with Alonzo Mourning. Words cannot convey the contempt I feel for that.

That really wasn't any of Obama's business. It's sad, but I'm surprised he even commented on it. Foley chose to be there. Bad decision. Nothing whatsoever to do with the US government. Do you know how many Americans are in prison in Mexico right now because their families can't pay the "ransom" to get them out, and the US government does nothing!

The US government does not have the obligation to ransom hostages, but when a foreign entity wantonly murders Americans, the President should comment and should make them pay a price.

No. Part of individual freedom is the government stays out of your life. The Americans who have been murdered in ISIS chose to go there, they weren't American soldiers or representatives of the government. Sad, but none of the government's business! ISIS is not our problem!
