Are you ashamed of Obama's dereliction of duty in solidarity with France?

He decided to watch football games instead of joining the leaders of the free world in Paris. It makes me embarrassed as an American, but I guess it was honest. Obama is not a friend of free speech. He seems to have more of an affinity for Third World dictators like Muhammad Morsi of Egypt, the Castro brothers, the Iranian mullahs, and Abbas/Abu Mazen.

I understand that Pres Obama previously had criticized Charlie Hegdbo calling it an affront to Islam. In every regard Obama and his administration has taken the side of Islam over the rest of the world. He refuses, and has prevented his entire administration from using terms that refer to Islam in a negative way. Notice the contortions they use to avoid terms like Islamic Extremism, Jihad, Islamic Terrorists, etc. He also has denied that ISIS/ISIL, a self-proclaimed Islamic State dedicated to an Islamic Caliphate, is Islamic?

Do I care if Obama participated in the rally in Paris? Nope. I never expected anything like that from him. Notice he also has avoided participating in any similar event within the US that could be interpreted as being against Muslims or Islamism. That said, I am very disappointed that he did not ensure some high level representation by the US, such as the VP, Sec State, or even the Attorney General who already was in Paris.

Such avoidance had to be intentional and done to send a message.
