I really could use some confidence and cheering up right now.

I really want to ask my best friend to homecoming and I would like people's opinions on if this would work:I'm going have her friend bring her to the band room after school, then when Itzel walks I'm going to give her a blue and a purple balloon with a paper attached saying: "*read out loud* You bring out the best in me and have proven what being a true friend can mean.Your smile lifts me up and that is evident to see.Throughout the past two years you have always kept me going.I want to ask..."Then I'll say: "will you go with me to homecoming?"
