What is according to you the worst invention of Mankind and why ?

I feel "Mirror" as the worst invention, for that is when Humans started becoming selfish by looking more at themselves, as against nature's intention of an eye through which we can look at the other, and not as much at ourselves.

Sure all would agree, that without mirrors, it is definitely impossible to have a look at our back, or our face. So can we say Nature wanted us to take care of others more than ourselves.. and be taken care by others. ?

Money. We kill for it. We allow others to die for the lack of it. The love of it makes us turn on each other. We destroy our very planet just to get a little of it. It isn't even real. Money only has value in our minds. How pathetic.

Yup.. I call money the best opium or virus that was ever invented. But it has also made us give away many things for money. The tomato we buy perishes, but the money we give it for does not. howzzat ?

well.. it was projected so.. or supposed to be so.. but no longer.. Money has transformed a lot, that what it got created for. And especially now, Money is a joke.. and it is we people who give it value.. else its worthless..

and yes it is a economic tool, that makes a fool out of people.

absolutely right.. we just get used to money from our childhood and we never question it.. and we just pass it on to the next generation without doing anything about it.. and rightfully there is no lesson about money in school.. why ? isn't it common subject as geography, science, history etc. ? or was it on purpose ignored or not told.. so only a section of population knows how to operate it? and even that section is no exception, as they too are hooked to money anyway..

Time to see beyond money. A society that is focused on money, such as own, tends to place a monetary value on everything or at least anything it can. We start to quantify and qualify our reality by what its perceived value is. There are many things in this world that are beyond the simplistic notion of money. Money is not necessary. Money is the system we have chosen to use. There are other better systems that we could create were we not so focused on money.

Very true. But the problem is also that we have fixed our thoughts to "Money" as defined by the past and we never think beyond. If we think out of the box, we can create money in very different ways.. which can gain value over time. For instance, Money should have been different for the intellectual world, whereas we use the same money as defined by the materialistic world. It is really insulting when the remuneration of an artist / software / creative people gets compared to a ton of tomato or metal..
