Abortion? Who cares?

Everything has a right to live? It's not that simple. The mother has no right to kill the baby? It's not that easy.Who am I you to tell you otherwise? That's not important right now. When a child is created, an argument can be made that it is "alive" the whole way; from fertilization until conception. But if you really want to get technical, it is just a mass of cells in the early stages. The only way it's surviving is due to said cells following what every cell is meant to do; divide and grow. In addition to nutrients from the mother, of course. Now the question is who gets to decide whether this mass of cells deserves to live or die. Short answer, no one. Long answer, it's complicated. You can't ask the unborn child if it wants to live or die because it has no capacity to tell you either one. And just as I have no right to say otherwise, you also have no right to make choices for the mother. So let's all sit down, shut up, and stop butting into people's lives. Alright? Thanks.

No. At 18 weeks a child can survive outside the womb. Only within the first 2-3 weeks its a "pack of cells". After that it develops senses and even pain. It's simple. Don't pretend to be objective and purposely miss the point. It's a life at an early stage, period.

I see. Does that still give us an excuse to argue for something that can't argue for itself? Or to tell the mother that even though her body and her mind have put so much effort into growing this baby, she has no right to kill it? That even though we didn't help her grow that child in ANY way, we can still degrade her and give her hell for it as if it WAS our child? If the answer is yes, then I'm sorry for being mistaken. If the answer is no, then I guess there's nothing to talk about?

"Does it give us an excuse to argue for something that can't argue for itself (a mute blind kid)? Or to tell the mother that even though her body and mind have put so much effort into taking care of her useless mute blind, that she has no right to kill it?" Look at what you arguing for. You arguing for MURDER.

A mute blind kid can argue for itself. For they have the ability to write. If you can't think for yourself, choose for yourself, or FEEL for yourself; then what kind of life is that? But that's not my point. My point is when is it okay to choose for other people? You will probably never know what it's like to be a mother. Or what that mother is going through in order to decide she doesn't want that baby. And neither will I. My only question is... What right do you have to tell other people what or what not to do? Even if it is murder, it's not up to you or anyone else; it's up to the mother of the UNBORN child. You have to be ready because people will do what it takes to make themselves happy, even if you don't agree with it. And arguing for murder, really? Don't be ridiculous. You say that as if we all don't do that already.

No. Because your talking about a life that cannot choose for itself.

If it can't choose, is it still human? Or just a living mass shaped like a human?
paladinofdoom
lol. Are you human? Or just a living mass shaped like a human?
Nickf20
Just like a newborn can't choose for itself. It's still a human.

The law says a fetus at that stage is not a human
