Why American perception of the world is given too much importance ? Is it bcuz of economic might ? new age colonization

I am not trying to criticize , but every country has some sort of perception on other country but why all other countries are compared with one country . I find this a faulty thing .

I think it's because of how much importance they place on equality and human rights. Even though they don't always practice that themselves.

I admire that but still I have a concern regarding usage of NGO's to create a fake human rights thing in most of the countries , but never raises voice against some nations ? any idea ?

Its because we run a huge portion of the media and the various outlets are playing to their biggest audience.
