What would life be like today if the dinosaurs were still alive?

Would they be able to survive conditions that the planet faces today had the meteor not impacted the planet?What would happen to humanity if the meteor didn't wipe out the dinosaurs?Were dinosaurs intelligent, and more so than humans?

Isn't it funny ...as many as there are and how big they are...yet man would find a way to exploit them.
