I got fired from my job for being an atheist. What should I do?

Where I worked has a policy that no employees and/or customers would be subject to discrimination on religion. All my coworkers were wearing their crosses and religion symbols, and I was wondering if I could wear my atheist symbol, because of that rule. Because I simply asked that question, everyone got offended and falsely accused me of attacking their religious beliefs when I only asked if it was okay for me to wear a pendant. Today, I was falsely accused of saying to a customer that I hate Jesus (I never EVER said that AT all) and I got fired for the false allegations. No one would hear me out and I felt discriminated against just for being an atheist. To think all of this started because I asked to wear my atheist pendant. I don't know what else to do now but get another job.

I lived there in the late 90's and made the mistake of letting it be known i was an atheist ..wow..was i hated, now if i said i was another faith or some such i might just have been tolerated. it is bigotry and hate in the purest form.
