Heck no. My mother would only buy things that went through her extensive background check. Meaning nothing that may draw any likeness to ANYTHING that may be seen as demonic. So no Pokemon, no power rangers, no dragon ball, or anything we kids thought was cool back then.

Yes and no. Didn't have as much control when I needed parents for money, but like you said, it sucks having to worry about money.
