Do you usually change the channel when you see those ASPCA animal cruelty commercials?
I can't watch and the music makes it even worse.

The thought of raising money for dogs when there are children in need bothers me. Put the critters to sleep and use your funds to help actual people

You can do it for both. Just because you care about animals, doesn't mean you don't care about children too.
