I think we all tend to believe that what we believe is true and factual and what the other guy believes is false. It is an unfortunate part of human nature that has existed since Cain and Abel.

I agree to a point but somethings are clearly beliefs and other things are actually factual and can be verified.

I do. However, a good politician can paint the sky anything from a light bright blue to a dark and dreary blue-grey and describe the grass as the brightest green to shriveled up and dead brown.
