What do you think about those few Republicans who are Angry at the President about the Bergdahl prisoner swap?

If you do not have something intelligent and civil to say, your comment will be deleted. It is my opinion that technically the President violated US laws in several ways: in negotiating with terrorists; in failure to notify Congress, and probably others. However, I believe that it is politically stupid for any Republican to publicly make that point. It comes across as anti-military and seems to be a petty complain. I understand why some stiff-necked absolutists would do this, but consider it to be akin to political suicide. What do you think?

Deserter in the face of the enemy. Ask the troops whose lives he jeopardized when he left his post. And the administration violated the law, again, in his release, which makes them just as guilty. Leavenworth has a cell with his name on it.

I agree with all you said. I really hope they convene an Article 32 hearing and bind him over for Court Martial for desertion, AWOL, Aid and Comfort to the Enemy, and Treason, although I doubt they can convict on that charge.

Complaining about Obama's action on this is dumb because there is no possibility of any meaningful action against the president. It becomes a pissing contest the Republicans cannot win.

I strongly advise that Congress begin the Articles of Impeachment against the Immaculate One and his pen and telephone. We are a country of laws, not a country of imperialist's insistent on telling the majority what is good for them, regardless of the outcome of their actions. I wonder how long it will be before more American lives are lost due to the actions of the five dirtbags we returned to their caves.
