David always tells the truth on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, but lies on every other day

Ok, if Dave says he's going to tell the truth tomorrow on Wednesday, then that means he's right because Thursdays are when he's honest, the same goes for Friday. However, it's also a contradiction because on Wednesdays and Fridays he's lying which means he would have to be lying about telling the truth on Thursday and/or Saturday which wouldn't make sense. If he's saying it on Tuesday, then that means he's lying because he wouldn't be honest on Wednesday either. This is the only one that adds up but I still don't understand what this question is asking!!!
