Who is your favorite Beatle (living or dead), and why?

When I was quite a bit younger, I thought that John Lennon was my favorite Beatle. I remember when he was shot. I was nine years old at the time. For many years, I was fascinated by him. I wanted to understand what made him the complicated man that he was. But now, I think that George may be my favorite. He was the most contemplative, thoughtful Beatle. I once heard that one day, when the Beatles were recording at Abbey Road Studio, a kid came and asked if he could talk to one of the Beatles. The studio manager asked the Beatles if one of them would talk to him. John said "Oh, Christ," and was obviously annoyed by the interruption. So he asked Paul, who said, "Why don't you ask George?" And George then went outside and talked to the young boy for quite a while. He made that kid's day. I would have liked to have talked with George about the meaning of life, and how to go about finding and fulfilling your purpose in this world. That would have been a great conversation.

I like George. Something in the Way She Moves. I love it. I often play it over and over

That's a great song. I love it, too. I think it may just be the most beautiful love song ever written.

George.
I'm not exactly sure why. I love his music and find his journey in to Hinduism fascinating...

Sorry, I never talk to beetles. OK, scarabs sometimes, but the run of the mill beetle, no.
