Whats the best way to store and file paperwork?

my paperwork is all over the place. And binders are no longer working. any ideas of how to organize or store paperwork?

I reckon you have 2 options

1) Get yourself some new binders unlike the little ones the big ones are pretty durable and long lasting and they are not expensive.
Binders and a hole punch thats what I got

2) If you willing to splash out get a filing cabinet my dad has one of those takes up a fair bit of space but its easy to find your paperwork.

In folders either sorted by dates and times or topics and then dates and times. Everything I do is stored in different folders for whatever then time sorted

Use a Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
You can search on the internet for it.
In a EDMS you can store scanned documents and digital documents.

how do you digitize it? it might not be feasible right now cuz then we'd have to print it all out
