It's funny but amazing to me. I was talking to someone at work today about an inservice 3 years ago and he not only remembered the speaker but how much he liked what the guy had to say. We impact each other more than we sometimes realize

Looks to me like you are pretty hard to forget. When you have problems within your relationship, you attempt to fill that with something else. That may be what is happening with the crush.

very true. I always had these feelings about him. even when I was 10. we've known each other since I was 5 and he was 3 or even younger. and yet when people mention his name my heart beats faster. I'm 30 and its been happening since 10. its worse now with bad marriage.
