I agree in general but it's in degrees.
This morning I looked out of the window to see one of the bin collectors (refuse collector) was a woman, first time I've seen this and I think her life must be harder than a guy who works in an office but she is an exception.

Mhm our lives is in the end of the day what we make of them.
But to not be so generic, I think it's a different type of hard for each gender.
I'm sorry if you're feeling your life is hard though. Try to copy some female habits. I'm not joking.. women are better with taking care of themselves. That in itself is something that rejuvenates you and allows you to rest more deeply...

You're not wrong.
As the men's libbers describe it, women may traditionally be seen as property to be used, but men are viewed as disposable.
Hence young men are sent to their deaths in war.
It has taken centuries to achieve get occupational health and safety recognised as both a right and a legal obligation.
And all over the world, men still die, get injured, maimed and crippled by accidents at work caused by companies and managers cutting corners to save costs.

The narcissists and machiavellians work hard at building and maintaining their positions of power.
Bosses and CEOs use, disrespect and discard the men beneath them.

Men are more far likely to be violated, harmed or murdered by other men than by women.

Many men are not taught in early life to recognise, name and talk about their emotions, and so they suffer unnecessarily from poorer relationships.
Add to that, most men are not taught how to cook, clean a house or take good care of their health, so they suffer more from self-neglect after a divorce or being widowed.

Things are changing for the better.
The old stereotypes and practices are changing.
But social change is always a painfully slow process.
