I would say yes. The degree to which you are offensive is adversely proportional to your willingness to be accepting. Why would one be accepting of offensive behavior or remarks?

Loosely. The don't give a fuck zone between them provides some variability. Some things that aren't accepted land in there but don't quite reach offense. And vice versa.
