Pseudo-profundities

I don't know if that's an actual term, but that's what I like to call them. It's when someone says something that, on the surface at least, appears to be "deep" and meaningful, but which is, nevertheless, nonsensical. I present to you Exhibit A:

Because everything is perception, but nothing is real, because everything is an illusion of reality, which means you can make it and call it whatever you like.

What's right is only right by you. What's wrong is only wrong by you. That is why evangelists are always so damned confused about life. Nobody wants to play right in their illusion of reality!

Hmm... 🤔

Yeah, nah!

Here is a better explanation…

Imagine a world where everyone sees things differently. One person might see a red apple, while another sees a green one. One person might think it's sunny outside, while another thinks it's raining.

That's what the text is saying. It's saying that everyone has their own way of seeing the world. What one person thinks is right, another person might think is wrong.

So, the text is saying that people shouldn't try to force their own way of seeing things on others. Everyone has their own unique way of seeing the world, and that's ok.

On the other hand, it’s total bollocks.
@Glossy Bollocks it is!
I can understand the idea that people's perceptions of reality will be coloured by their experiences in life, and perhaps even a handicap they may have (like being colour-blind), but that girl takes this idea WAY too far, to the point of absurdity and beyond.

@jshm2 It would be interesting to apply these thoughts to current gender concepts.
