We all die, sooner or later.

The question is how horribly you are going to die.

My, aren't you chipper. Haha That depends on how you look at things. The Bible tells us we can know where we're going and how we will get there. There's no guessing about it. Dying doesn't have to be awful. In fact, in the spiritual sense, those who are in Christ, really never die. They just cross over to a better place. The spirit cannot die. It lives on forever. Not all believe that, but that's okay. To each their own. However I have no doubt about it whatsoever. I have experienced Christ and the Holy Spirit and the promises of God are true and forever.

I love the way you say we can agree to disagree and be okay with it and then come back with big criticisms hahaha.

I did not say we can agree to disagree. No way. I said that we don't have to agree. One of us is telling the truth. The truth that is told will do its own thing, like those mustard seeds. Some will fall on fertile ground. Some grounds need tilling; so, criticisms may be necessary.

Try telling that to a person who has been burned in a car wreck or someone with cancer.

Material reality is perceptual. Perception is reality. When you look at a tree, it is perceived as a tree, something you have knowledge of; and its perceived form is shaped by the knowledge you have about it. Your reality is not that of a bird's because its perception is not shaped by the knowledge you have.

By actual reality, I mean a reality that is not shape by knowledge. A very young child has very little knowledge and its reality is as close to actual as we can get. This is why (I think) Jesus did not want the children to be kept away from him for the Kingdom of Heaven was made for such as them. This is my opinion.

Likewise, I surmise that reality to the creatures of nature is closer to actual than we can normally get. We are traumatized by health issues and financial insecurity not to mention relationship conflict and physical violence of crime and war. As such, material reality to us is as real as a maximum security prison to convicts.

@Bel6EQUJ5 How would you define me? This is a philosophy thread. Do your best.
I have a terminal cardiopulmonary disease and on assisted O2, others with what I have usually die in our sleep, usually cardiac arrest or suffocation.

@NativePortlander1970 You seem pretty chipper for someone in your situation. We are all terminal. No one is going to walk out of this life regardless of what God says.

Do you wheel your O2 around? Are you in assisted living?
@sree251 I'm on an antianxiety med, it makes me not give two shits about my disease. I have a large machine for home use, and small portable 2 hour tanks I fit in a custom backpack for when I go out. I have my own small one bedroom apartment in a low income disability building.
