Schopenhauer's views on women,
@HobNoblin can you open it up a bit? What do you really think about it?

@playingmybeautifulviolin I think Schopenhauer is on to something. Just watch how women act, how they don't take responsibility for their actions or at least it's a serious trend among them. They throw men away and laugh about it. Of course you could say that's some kind of mating strategy and they'll go get a different man so they can mix their genes some more. But, they don't treat each other very well either. If you really want to see a woman have a panic attack just say something like "I don't want to take care of women" or some such thing. That's a feminist talking point but it will trigger them. And, the more crude and girly they are the more it will do it. As a man, you really can not treat women the way feminists say you should. It is cruel and shocking to them if you actually just do it. You can get away with it if you're around fanatical leftist women who have to just deal with it because their ideology tells them to. Fascinating stuff when you really look at women objectively.
[@HobNoblin I think this opinion is pretty out of touch. Both men and women have individuals who act badly, but generalizing an entire gender isn’t objective.
Also, historically, women have been more oppressed in many ways due to patriarchal structures, so ignoring that context doesn’t really give a fair picture.
Nowadays, both genders can show problematic behavior, especially in a culture shaped by consumerism and social expectations.
I respect Arthur Schopenhauer as a philosopher, but I don’t think his views on women are particularly reliable or relevant today.
