Why would my modem start blinking like a Christmas tree and boot me off spontaneously at certain times during the day? It's brand new.

@chris62ca: It's ATnT Uverse if that helps. I called them, they are coming Monday, but it will stop and start up with no apparent reason....

@puck61: I assume they had you go through all the standard troubleshooting steps?

@chris62ca: Yeah. It did it for about 45 minutes this morning, and it was doing it about 20 minutes ago....They had my unjack the power cable for 10 seconds and all that.

@puck61: They will do that before they send out a tech.
