If you are exactly on the equator, not on the northern or Southern Hemispheres, is it summer or winter?

The Earth is tilted and has an elliptical orbit. There are seasons even at the equator, but never a true winter.

It's fairly constant whatever the season.
but it can vary in terms of temperature depending on whether you're on land or sea !
