@OriginalDumbMan they basically accused me of not being able to pay for the car after I placed the deposit. A local Tesla salesman who called my number was suspicious about my ability to pay. The same person tried to mislead me into buying the car directly from his Tesla dealership. Tesla customers can pick up their car from any dealership they choose, at least that was my understanding. When I complained to the manager, they didn't care or didn't believe me about my complaint. I tried to get my deposit back from Tesla but I can't. Ultimately, I decided to stop buying cars anyway. It's cheaper to rideshare. I hate dealing with parking and traffic. I noticed that Tesla cars rapidly decrease in value anyways.
