So let's say you made a time machine...

Would you kill Hitler? when? how would you do it?

Good point, it was really Hitler's fault they lost.
how would that be? Hitler was a very strong leader. i doubt anyone else could have convinced them to be such terrorists.

He was a very charismatic leader, but he let emotions rule him and made a bunch of strategic blunders that ultimately cost him the war and his life.

For example, attacking the Soviet Union before defeating Britain, refusing to give up on Stalingrad and comeing back for it later like a sensible person would and wasting resources on ruinously expensive grandiose weapons.

He liked to micromanage affairs outside his experience and often didn't listen to people who knew what they were talking about.

(edited for grammar fail)
@Goralski: Franz Ferdinand was killed and not by the British. that is what started wwi
@crossproduct: he was a psychopath. the fact that people listened to him is unbelievable. He had to crash and burn sooner or later but wouldn't it be nice if he did it before getting into power?

@bunny61: It's amazing how that one assassination basically created the modern world as it is today.

@bunny61: I don't think he was a psychopath, he cared too much. I think it was something else, but what it was I don't really know. Now Stalin was a psychopath, he didn't care about anyone.

Have you listened to his speeches? I can see how he did it. He was always putting himself down as the little guy and the servant of the people and the victim and only doing it for the sake of Germany. That's how he got people to identify with him. He was an incredibly good performer.

Too bad they didn't let him into art school, that would have changed a lot.
@crossproduct: weird huh? and we never learn about him in school. if he HAD gotten into art school would he have taken over the art department? maybe he would have kilned someone for liking cubism.
