He's either telling the truth, or he's one of the best liars I've ever listened to. If you don't know who he is, I recommend listening to his story. His interview with Joe Rogan was great. To sum it up the best way I can, Bob Lazar claimed to have been brought on for a project at Area 51. His job, according to him, was to reverse engineer an alien spacecraft that had been recovered.

I'm putting this question under "Science & Technology" because of the content of his story.

The guy is a community college dropout, who makes shit up. What's amazing to me is how people pay attention to anything he says.
@Northwest I'm fascinated with the topic of UFOs/UAPs, so I enjoy hearing and reading any story related to it. I'm aware that most of it is misidentification or fabrication. If someone has a story to share, however, I'll listen.

@HUNT5M4N I use simple logic. If a society is advanced enough to figure out how to travel beyond the speed of light, then they know how to arrive incognito. And they sure as hell are not going to arrive on spaceships taken out of L. Ron Hubbard's final Scientology chapter.

And sure. some people may have experienced alien kidnappings and anal probing, but they should probably check what they were smoking prior.

That aside, I love astronomy and space science for professional and personal reasons.
@Northwest I've spoken with several people who've made abduction claims, and none of them can be accused of smoking anything prior. I have a great deal of respect for these people. I can't dismiss what they've told me just because I find it unlikely. They had a story to tell, and I listened. I think enough people have criticized them. I didn't feel the need to add to it.
