Any clever circuit design types here tonight?

I'm trying to debug a nasty problem and I need a power supply sort of thing where the voltage falls smoothly (and reasonably linearly) from 10 or 12 volts to 1 or 2 volts (or less) over 30 minutes or so. It needs to supply a couple of amps.

Anybody have a good idea how to do this? My poor old brain can't seem to come up with anything simple.

Some big RC circuit controlling an amp or something? If the time constant is big enough it’ll look linear.

@SW-User I was thinking of something along those lines... I got as far as a supercap, drained by a precision current sink to create a fairly linear slope, but then it needs voltage gain followed by a big ugly output stage to source the current. All of which starts to get a little complex for a one-off test.

It seems to me i should be able to do something clever with an adjustable voltage reg, but no useful circuit springs to mind.

I appreciate your thoughts...
