Are these blankets by my speakers good for acoustics ?

You don't have a controlled studio environment, so if it makes you feel good, cool. Otherwise, it does not make much of a difference. Sound waves will be bouncing off walls, ceiling, furniture, etc. so the blankets will dampen only part of the sound.

@Northwest well the reason i put them there is because websites were saying not to have the speakers close to the wall because of sound reflection

@Thunderyflame What you're trying to avoid, is boundary interference. That's not going to he helped by blankets. If you're noticing massive bass loss, then start with the speakers flush against the wall, and start moving out little by little. This is also dependent on where the listener is, relative to the speakers.

This is why I'm saying that unless this is a professional situation, you may be wasting your time.

@Northwest well im not to worried about bass loss with the speakers i have subs that handle most of the bass anyway i was worrying about the mid frequency
