Im afraid of my body decomposing after death, what should I do?

I don't want my body to decompose and feed worms and birds.

Well at death your body starts the process. It is inevitable. If you’re really worried donate your body to science or consider cremation

@soar2newhighs Strangely, it can be quite difficult to donate your body to science, not least because of the costs involved, all of which must be borne by the estate of the deceased. These include (but are not limited to) legal procedures, transportation and storage, and ultimate disposal of the corpse
@newjaninev2 truly it was just an
Idea. Never looked into it but your comment may be the impetus to do
so. I have family in healthcare who could answer any such questions.

@soar2newhighs One would think that some medical school or research institute would be grateful and eager... but alas, it’s not always so.

Still, at least they no longer rob fresh graves to obtain their cadavers 😂
