If you mean an invasive plant ruining your garden, there's none. A weed in this case is any plant you don't want growing with your cultivated plants. You could be growing dandelions and an unwanted rose sprouts. The rose is a weed.

If you mean the kind Cheech & Chong smoke then there's three types but several hundred 'breeds'.

The difference between weeds and flowers is judgement.

Depends how you define “weed.” A weed is just a plant you don’t want in that particular spot.
There are approximately 250,000 species of plants worldwide; of those, about 3% or 8000 species behave as weeds.
