I don't think it was created by chance. The Big Bang theory was created by physicists because they have the idea that they know everything and have all the answers so they had to create an explanation that could not be disproven.
The Universe is too grand and too infinite for it too be accidental. And there are multiple dimensions occurring in the same space at the same 'time'.
We will never know how it began. Some things we will never know. But it was not done by chance.
