I don't think I ever had, now that I think about it. Reportedly, people's beliefs are rooted in "gut feelings", and people only use reason to justify those gut feelings. Facts that don't support the gut feelings are discarded as lies, rumors, etc, while other facts that support the gut feelings are embraced as the "real truth".

Sad.

I gave up trying. It's complete waste of time and effort.

@Maynard I know right? Yet, two people voted "yes", I wonder what are their stories...
🤔

The Indian philosopher, Deepak Chopra, said that humans spend 90% of their mental energy, defending their personal views. But why do we do that? It's our egos that feel the need for validation. But in the grand scheme of things, who gives a shit?
The next time someone tells you that grass is blue, and the sky is green, just smile and walk away! You have NOTHING to gain by arguing with them. Save your mental energy on something that benefits YOU.

It's not easy to get to that stage, but once you do, it will be a very liberating thing.
