Does the PlayStation 4 sort of suffer when being turned on for too long?

Hmm not sure, i have heard of them overheating. But not sure because i always put mine to sleep after using it.

@SW-User I just use it for Amazon Prime Video for quite some time during the day, and sometimes it has the screen go black or the sound go quiet, also when on halt or when the application is stopped, and once even when the PS4 wasn't even turned on anymore, the screen was sort of flickering. But the next day everything was okay again.

@scooogy Probably just the playstation glitching tbh. But from what you're saying about the screen flickering when the PS4 was turned off, sounds to me like the HDMI cord could be lose or something?

@SW-User I thought about that already, but all I checked was the plug into the TV yet not the other one :/

@scooogy Check both and see if that makes a difference.

@SW-User but couldn't I somehow bend the pins of tearing on the cable when plugged in? 🙈
