Is it wrong of startups to invent niche products for bigger companies?

Like the bigger companies just didn't get the ideas the startup people had?

No. It's good for the start up and it's good for the bigger business. If a bigger business didn't find start up companies to invent niche products then the niche products wouldn't get invented because the money wouldn't be there to pay for them. So the start up wins, as long as they negotiate a good price or deal and the bigger company wins and the consumer wins. 馃し

A friend of mine invented alittle thing while working at Boeing. They paid him well for it.

@jackson55 on the other hand that gets me thinking if he wouldn't have earned way more if he'd have invented it independently.

@scooogy Maybe, but he was a Boeing employee at the time. At the time you鈥檙e under contract that anything you come up with that they can use belongs to Boeing. But it was such a time saver they decided to pay him for it.

Not if those bigger companies are footing the bill.
