I absolutely hate seeing children with iPhones.

I work at a restaurant and it irks me when in walk children with phones in their hands. The parents give them to them and it’s a shame. This little toddler boy once was screaming for the phone/tablet and his mom literally went, “Ok, ok, here!!” Dumb. Parents need to quit being lazy especially in this generation. Spend time with your kids instead of sticking them in front of a device.

For my daughter the phone or the tablet are considered a privilege she doesn't just get them automatically and if we're going someplace to eat that's a time for us to talk and spend time with each other not simply watch our phone or tablet my daughter is only 6 though and she just turned six this past week. Her mom will give her the iPad all the time but when she's with Dad she really doesn't even care about the iPad she would much rather go to the park or go out to dinner and be able to talk Daddy I don't know what I would do if I hadn't gotten primary custody.

I say this as a mom who intentionally keeps screen time to a bare minimum; I was a great mother before I became a parent. 😉

I think that the problem with our technology is not the technology itself it's more what people spend their time doing on their devices therein lies the problem.

I mean with my Iphone for instance I just bought like 8 shares of the VTI and every asshole from the mail room on to the CEO in every company in the united states is now working to make me richer.

I use Technology by Night to Educate myself in a Foreign Language... and honestly even though we're in a Social situation I pay attention to what everyone is writing about because it's education into what to invest in. Like I'm a nintendo share holder now

It's true I watch lots of entertainment and such but if you think I blow all my time on meaningless distractions I don't.

in fact I just recently UPPED the amount of time I spend in Japanese Lessons.
