How to find a job in research in USA?

I’m starving to have a job in research, I had pursued my master in environmental science, hold 3years experience, but only draw back is all this I did at my hometown, India. Now I had moved to USA, despite of having legal authorized work permission I’m unable to get into my dream job. It really sucks me a lot.
