Americans, explain this to me 😱

Doug Demuro reviewed this Corolla 4 months ago and then I saw one in my country and it looked wayyy nicer! I was like maybe in real life it is better looking then today a guy from my country reviewed it and it still looks nice I then realized that the US version is in deed very ugly!

One is a hybrid (the nicer looking one) the other isn't, it's a base model. Base is always skimpy and crappy looking
