About 2 years, a basic DORO instrument replacing an LG2017 "smart"-phone (a stupid slang term, is that) I was persuaded to buy then found no use to me and eventually managed to sell on.
My first portable 'phone lasted over 12 years I think, before its battery failed. Luckily I found a mail-order supplier of replacement batteries, so it was back in business but about 2 years later, damp penetrated and ruined the liquid-crystal display.
Otherwise I'd probably still be using it, a good 22 years after buying it.
