How to stop my google searches from showing up on all of my devices.

I've googled this question extentinsively without any success,so I thought I'd try here. I have an andriod and a tablet (both connected to my gmail account. When I google search on my phone I notice that the searches are on my tablet too. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but other people use my tablet too. (family) and when I Google and buy gifts for them online, I would like for them to be suprised. How can I stop this?

Try using incognito mode on your Google browser. It's under the settings in the upper right with the 3 dots.

You to use them with different gmail accounts.
Go into your sign in/ security - look at your "Recently used devices" Touch on a specific device name if you want to see when it was last synced with your Google account. You’ll, hopefully, see a large Remove button. Press that to take away access.

I went into settings so my tablet and phone wont be insinc and also after searching heavily was able to prevent my history from being recorded. It no longer is.

You can adjust the settings thru your gmail account search history to only one device

@suchaslife Can you give me a little more detail on how I would do that?/ Thanks!

You have to disable it in your account privicy settings or you can also clear it on any connected device
