Dark matter existed before Big Bang.

Being scientific, is it necessary to believe in the big bang theory? I mean it's just a theory I love to think universe always existed.

Lol Reading one article doesn't make you either scientific or a scientist.

@SomeMichGuy and where exactly did i say that?
Sunshine04 · F
terms like "before" become meaningless when there is no time. time is a concept that only exists in the universe and not outside of it. so there is no time before the beginning and not even a "before"
@Sunshine04 Damn that's deep

@Sunshine04 Exactly, That's the reason I Don't like this news about "dark matter".

And regarding the big bang theory ,
😅 It's just super scary to imagine that time began with it, an infinite universe without boundaries and without a beginning is satisfying for me.

It is a scientific theory.

Scientific theories are backed up by evidence and a scientific methodology of investigation.

Right now it is the model accepted in the scientific community, until it's falsified and/or someone comes with a better more valid and concise model to answer its problematics.

No, it is not necessary to believe even for scientists, the empiricist is open to both belief and the disbelief. That is why they are encouraged to keep on looking.

The article you linked doesn't falsify the big bang.

Possibilities with no real answers. A lot of "could be's" and uncertainties with "suggestive" models.

Other theories also exist. Like another suggestive theory, that there have been multiple big bangs. That would kind of explain the dark matter. Yet even that is just a theory.

On the other hand, steady state is abhorrent to entropy. That is pretty much conclusive.

A "theory", as an idea, hunch or thought someone is toying with, is not the same thing as a scientific theory.

Scientific theory, is how science interprets facts.

This paper, however, does not disprove the Big Bang, the mathematical model predicts that Dark Matter existed prior to the Big Bang.
They found a star older than the universe by more than a billion years. 🤭
@Northwest
This was measuring the elements in the star and the difference was more than you presented or they wouldn’t still be mentioning it in the news continually this week. They are really questioning that really really old big bang nonsense.
Northwest · M
@Aliveshock https://www.space.com/20112-oldest-known-star-universe.html

Specifically:
The uncertainty Bond refers to is plus or minus 800 million years, which means the star could actually be 13.7 billion years old — younger than the universe as it's currently understood, though just barely.
How is the Big Bang nonsense?
@Northwest
They were still posting even today.
If it was insignificant the story would have been squashed like a bug.
It has been a straight week so far.
Are you a scientist?

I am gathering the big bang is considered a joke now.
You must use different scientific sources than myself.
there have been theories that the universe always existed.
