If human cyborg technology was available to the public masses, would you "upgrade" yourself with any of it?

If so, why?

Not gonna lie, there are days with my arthritis pains that I wish both my whole arm and leg limbs were replaced with purely techno-organic ones so I didn't have to feel this kind of pain anymore, lol.

Also having robotic legs might not be a bad idea, those can always give an extra edge.

@pagandad Good points made but just realize different people have different pain tolerances and limits.

Also I have to admit, while I'm not certainly seeking complete immortality as some would, living for an extra couple hundred years or so sounds pretty amazing. Something like cyborg implants might make that possible one day.

Hell yeah a bionic stomach would be awesome.
dabadcop · 36-40, M
@Rokasu Ok now I'm curious, why the stomach? It's an interesting idea though!

@dabadcop It’s the only part of me that sucks ass. The entire process.

The most popular would be wheels on feet and personal cooling/heating systems.

Not too worried about my lower limbs - mainly because they cause me so much pain. But I’d want the rest of me as ‘me’. The touch of my fingers seems too human to loose. And my body self image would need the familiar ‘me’ for to feel I was still myself.

I would have my brain transferred into a totally cybernetic body!
dabadcop · 36-40, M
@Quizzical I dunno about a TOTAL transference like that...I think I'd find it unsettling to see my body in a total different image than the one that's basically imprinted in my brain now. Although I can certainly see the appeal in it.

@dabadcop I think people have the opinion that it would be a shock to the system, but we wear masks without any ill effects, and our face is constantly changing.

Just think, endless stamina, super strength, nigh-immunity to disease, minimal need to eat! Amazing!

In the blink of an eye (assuming I can afford to).

I'd settle for normal.
